Finally, fans are receiving what they’ve been asking for in a 2021 Jeep Wrangler: a V-8 powered engine. Brimming with potential, the recent information released on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept model makes all of us in the Redlands CDJR community excited to see it for ourselves. Exterior and Performance Features in the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept

For Jeep enthusiasts like us who want the most out of their vehicle, we’ll be incredibly happy with the Rubicon 392 Concept model. Of course, the model starts with a 6.4L V-8 engine that outputs up to 450 horsepower and 450 ft-lbs of torque. These enormous specs translate both into off- and on-road conditions, as the model can go 0-60 in under five seconds. Upgraded engine mounts and a modified frame allow the vehicle to haul the beast of an engine through the toughest of terrain.  Other mechanical features included in the model are as follows:

  • Dana 44 Axles
  • Two-Speed Transfer Case
  • Front and Rear Axle Lockers
  • 37-inch Mud-Terrain Tires
  • Two-Inch Lift Kit from Mopar®

Trail Rated Capability Improvements and Design Features

But what do the specifications mean for the Trail Rated Capabilities? Due to the improvements, traction is greatly improved with the torque output and 17inch beadlock wheels. Plus, with the Jeep performance Parts two-inch lift kit and 37-inch tires allow for major improvements across the board with:

  • Fording Capability (34 inches)
  • Ground Clearance (13.25 inches)
  • Approach (51.6 degrees)
  • Breakover (29.5 degrees)
  • Departure (40.1 degrees)

When it comes to overall design, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept offers a Granite Crystal exterior paint job with a Bronze accent color, seen in the tow hooks, badging, springs, shocks, and wheels. The model will also have custom half-doors and a Wrangler’s Sky One-Touch Powertop and removable side panels for open airflow.
